Mr. Igarashi continues to fulfill Kickstarter promises. Fans of the original Castlevania series have been longing for a true successor to the series for many years. I’m happy to report that the wait is over!
Back to the future!
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is an 8-bit Castlevania-style retro game that features nostalgic gameplay mechanics and a fresh take on the metroidvania genre. Curse of the Moon lets you take control of one of four characters as you play through the game. Zangetsu, Miriam, Alfred, and Gebel. The four characters have special abilities that will come in handy during specific sequences in battle, or even when your stuck and you need to take flight. The ending of the game will change depending on how you interact with the characters you meet.
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is set to release on May 24th for $9.99. Backers that pledged $28 during the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night campaign will receive Curse of the Moon for free. Thanks to the stretch goal of the original Bloodstained Kickstarter, it’ll be hitting multiple systems (Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, & Steam).
Once a proud owner of a (now dead) semi-popular YouTube channel called GamersLeak, Ignacio (aka. Tazz) has set out on a journey to assemble the seven dragon balls to wish it back. Little did he know that it would come back with a different name! Tazz is back and he’s bringing the hot takes to our Lobby; did we mention that he’s little more ambitious now?
