FIFA 18 World Cup Update Rolls in May 29th

With the FIFA World Cup around the corner, FIFA 18 is looking at a substantial update coming soon. The patch hits May 29th and will include new World Cup game modes.

Players will be able to pick from the 32 qualified teams and recreate real life matches. If that isn’t enough, this update will come with the option to customize your own World Cup. Play as any team from any country in FIFA 18, and create your own tournament. Furthermore, Ultimate Team will feature an option where fans can choose their dream team from any of the 32 qualified nations, including some of the most iconic players from the tournament’s history.

The update will also bring dynamic items which will improve stats based on the real world performance of World Cup participants. During the event, there will be a double pack incentive for every standard or premium pack you purchase in Ultimate Team. That means you’ll receive equal pack value in FUT. You can experience this in single player mode, online tournament, online draft and have squad building challenges.

There’s 12 new stadiums being introduced based on real world locations which include:

  1. Saint Petersburg Stadium, Saint Petersburg
  2. Fisht Stadium, Sochi
  3. Ekaterinburg Arena, Ekaterinburg
  4. Kazan Arena, Kazan
  5. Nizhny Novgorod Stadium, Nizhny Novgorod
  6. Rostov Arena, Rostov-On-Don
  7.  Samara Arena, Samara
  8. Mordovia Arena, Saransk
  9. Volgograd Arena, Volgograd
  10. Spartak Stadium, Moscow
  11. Kaliningrad Stadium, Kaliningrad
