Fused Zamasu & Vegito (SSGSS) Revealed for Dragon Ball Fighterz + Patch Notes

My form is justice. My form is the world. Revere me. Praise me. This noble and beautiful… immortal and most powerful God… Zamasu!

Bandai Namco finally unveiled the next two fighters out of the eight total for the season. Fused Zamasu and Vegito (SSGSS) have joined the battle! Zamasu and Vegito blue both have a reveal trailer showcasing what they can do, and I think they look pretty impressive so far. Zamasu looks to be the first character with the ability of flight. He seems like a keep away or zone character with his full screen level 1 and level 3 supers, whereas Vegito is quite the opposite. Vegito looks like a high pressure rush down character with very little start up and high priority. Both characters look to have pretty high skill ceilings. Check out the trailers below.

Aside from both fighters being revealed, Bandai Namco came out with the upcoming patch notes and changes that can impact the current game mechanics and state of the game. The characters that were listed include; Vegeta (Super Saiyan), Freiza, Krillin, Piccolo, Android 16, Android 18, Android 21, Vegeta (SSGSS), Nappa, Captain Ginyu, Adult Gohan, Kid Buu, Broly, and Beerus. The list also showed an “Etc.” which means there’s a possibility of other characters being worked on.

All we know thus far in terms of buffs and nerfs is that Freiza is confirmed for a buff.  Android 16, Adult Gohan, and Vegeta look to be getting a nerf. Vegeta’s assist is a little too strong at the moment and will be changed to have less pressure on block. Bardock looks to stay the same while Broly is being worked on (that was pretty quick for a DLC character). So far there is no known date for when the patch will hit, but I assume it will come out along with both Zamasu and Vegito. After playing this game for some time I do agree with the changes being done to Vegeta’s assist, but in my opinion Cell should’ve also been added to this list. We’ll see how the meta shifts!
